Hey y’all.

Paaarty time!! [Tarte Blush]

Paaarty time!! [Tarte Blush]

I never thought I needed blush. It was just one more thing I had to put on and I could never find the right color for my skin tone or get it blended in the right places to enhance my cheek bones properly. If you've read some of my other make up posts, you know by now that blending is not my forte and I am always about “easy” when it comes to make up routines. A friend signed up for Ipsy and she gave me a blush that she said “wasn’t really her color” and thought I might want to try it. I told her that I wasn’t much of a blush wearer but she insisted, so I took it. I already had one of those fluffy blush brushes from previous trials, so I looked at some blush tutorials online and tried it on. I actually loved it!! I thought it really enhanced my look and gave it that finishing touch. My cheeks are fairly rosy as is but this blush didn’t over do it. It’s called “Paaarty” by Tarte and I’ve already purchased a second one because I used the first one up!! This color blush color is perfect for a “new user” and boasts to last a full 12 hours. They also have lots of other shades. Apply to the apples of your cheeks, sweep up and out toward your temples, blend into the hairline - done!! If you are scared of blush like I was and might want to give it another shot, I encourage you to try this line.

Here’s some further reading on different kinds of blush and how to apply it based on your face shape.
